Join the Team

Want to help us provide tutorials that lack silence?  Want to share your awesome and unique know-how with the world?  Just read the following and then drop us an e-mail, and we’ll see if you make the cut.  Don’t feel depressed if you aren’t added to the team, we’re actually pretty evil on the inside.

What do you get?

This is a pretty common question (not really).  What do you get for becoming a part of Expr.ession.  Well, we can offer the following:

  • Blog Hosting – We’ll host a blog (or small site) for your.  1 GB of space and 15 GB of bandwidth (yup… we’re pretty cheap).  You’ll get cPanel and everything that’s standard with most hosting packages.
  • Upload permissions to our media-server (okay… just a large chunk of space for podCasting files and anything else you want to post here).
  • An awesome e-mail address @expr.ession.net
  • Awesome new friends!  I think this one makes it worth it.

What we want from you?

This is the cruel part, maybe we’re asking too much…

  • Ability to record screen casts.  Something like iShowU, Taksi, or ScreenFlow.  We’d like formats usable by iTunes, but if you can’t do that, one of us can convert the video for you.
  • Ability to upload via SFTP.  Something like Cyberduck or FileZilla should do.
  • Knowledge of wordPress (at least how to use it).
  • Creativity.  Strut your stuff, show off your know-how, or at least your attempts of gaining more knowledge.

Think you can handle it?

Drop us an e-mail at webness@expr.ession.net, and include the following:

  • Registered username on Expr.ession.
  • A brief bio about yourself (stuff like sites you currently have and why you’re interested in becoming part of an awesome team).
  • A link to a screen cast you’ve done previously (like on YouTube or something).

We’ll read about you, view what you’ve done before and decide if you will be allowed to enter the holeyist of areas on Expr.ession.
